Lonestar Kids’ Dentistry Saves Hours Each Week with Dentrix Ascend Forms

Lonestar Kids’ Dentistry was managing their three locations from three separate on-premises servers, finding it incredibly difficult to manage patient and doctor schedules.
On top of that, Lonestar had tried a couple of Forms tools, but found they did not meet the practice’s needs because they did not include options for customization, specialty questionnaires, or child-specific information requests.
Solution
Lonestar turned to Dentrix Ascend because it made it possible to manage workflows and scheduling from a single place. And because of the opportunity to eliminate a third-party integration into their practice management software (PMS), Lonestar decided to try Dentrix Ascend’s built-in Forms solution.

Simplified scheduling
Lonestar no longer has to rely on three separate server bases to schedule their patients. If a patient needs treatment but their doctor is at a different location, they can easily be added to that location’s schedule.

Once an appointment is booked, the Lonestar team can send any applicable forms right from their appointment screen.

While Lonestar finds customization one of the key benefits of Forms, they also use a number of templates, including ones for new patients, health history updates, minor authorization forms, and financial policies.
